Dortmund show signs that end of the Jürgen Klopp era might be in sight | Raphael Honigstein | Football | The Guardian

Found this article interesting in showing some of klopp's limitations. Have read a lot of pieces on why he is the right man but can understand how he can become intense and wear thin on some people just like morinho and a few other intense characters over time.

They thrive on creating performances over and above the previous max level of players and it is hard to maintain.

I would be perfectly happy if this leads us to winning the league and compete in the CL over the next few yrs however to sustain it over time one would have to learn from previous failings, potentially have bigger player turnover at some point or another and continue to reinvent yourself.

Ferguson and Wenger were stubborn characters that managed to stay in charge for a very long time. But they definitely learned, and renewed themselves over time and turnover was a given. I hope we can get a league win with Jurgen over the next few yrs but am willing to accept anything that gets us in the CL for this season.

Excitement looms.

Hope he calls back illori and markovic and starts to build something. Then sign a DM (M'vila would be great competition for lucas) and harder competition for mignolet in Jan. Doesn't have to cost a lot.

YNWA,
Stian
