Makes me wonder if he is going to change up personnel in defense. Sounds like he had plans for gomez before injury. Sakho/gomez centre back partnership would be really good. Now he is back to partnering sakho with skertel/lovren or kolo.
Maybe he takes on the challenge on fixing one of the first two?? What choice does he have considering kolo is slow, illori and wisdom is on loan and gomez is injured.
Also wonder what he does on the right. Be fun if he started Ibe considering everyone who is out injured (benteke, firminho, Ings (long term), hendo, and as mentioned gomez and flanno.
Never the less sounds like he is already moving in the right direction.
