Suarez comment from Henry and some good insight into contracts etc.

Very interesting comments from John W. Henry.

Love the last paragraph the most and that he is supporting his manager because as much as he does not admit it below he did not like the way Kenny handled the racism row.

I like that they are taking a hard line on Suarez and if they are in control and have not made any promises to Suarez which he claims then we have all the power.

He has a binding contract with LFC for 3 years and he can pout and moan a bit like Tevez for a while but in the end he will come around usless someone comes in for him with big money.

A bit of rest and a few months on the sidelines can do him good and if we need to sit around and wait for him for a couple of years where he does not play and then sell him for 20M with one yr to go on his contract I would be perfectly happy with the LFC officials telling him that.

Mainly because he will realise then eventually that it will not gain protest and  be upset despite feeling let down by the club. The only way he will get out of LFC is by going out there and putting on a show.

It has been welll documented that he is not a bright character through his tenure at LFC and hence may think that there is no point in caving in until at least the end of the transfer window if not the end of his ban. Clubs outside England may come in for him and LFC may come around to his line of thinking.

I like what Rodgers have done. I like that Henry is supporting him and hopefully by the time the ban is over we can start talking about this situation again. For now nothing will change until then until a higher bid comes in (above LFCs valuation of him anyway) which I happen to believe is around 55M - 60M.

And even then if Arsenal cough up the money I would not let him go to a rival. If a rival wants him make them pay up 70M or 80M. Or get an agreement where we can keep him until next summer due to the length of his contract currently.
