Interesting turn in the Suarez case.
He is now training away from the squad.
It is hard to know whether there was an agreement last year or not. Someone is lying and I am inclined to believe it is Suarez.
If there was no agreement he should honour his contract that he chose to sign and play until LFC gets an offer they are happy with.
Rodgers is a position of power here. Suarez has 3 yrs left on his contract and is suspended for quite some time yet.
Therefore he has nothing to lose by taking a hard stand against Suarez and force him to get in line. Luis may end up doing so reluctantly if LFC continue to play hardball. It will also be a good rest for a player who has played a lot of football over the past few years.
I just hope he comes to his senses but have a hard time seeing him do that.
In the end we (LFC) seems to have all the trump cards in this situation and can hold out for more money.
I also think Suarez will play well if he gets in line and plays again despite being dissatisfied.
