Tough start to the season and gylfi

First of all. it looks like we are closing in on a potent goal threat.

That is good news.

Now Rodgers should focus on singing pace on the wings that can also play up front. As mentioned previously Kalou, Matt Phillips and Eljero Eliah would preferred options in my opinion.

Perhaps we can also sign some cover in central midfield but due to the numbers that can play in that position in the current squad I would not be in a hurry. Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Adam, Shelvey, Spearing (which I personally hope we get rid of) to name a few...

First 5 games in our season are difficult with the exception of the WBA perhaps. Noone ever said that was easy but if we have ambitions of finishing higher than 6th which I think we should have, we need to beat WBA.

City, Arsenal and United also feature in the first 5 games so it wont be easy. We will very quickly find out if Brendan Rodgers can find his feet quickly...

Cheers,
Stian
