They didnt show the game live in Canada and I have therefore not seen it.

Shelvey was terrific tonight with 1,5 goals. Is he the new Gerrard? 6 in 9 at blackpool. 

Downing got his first goal. Great finish. Hopefully this is the start of something. 

Carroll got a goal and looked like he played well at least on a couple of occasions. Terrific strike.

Would have liked to see kelly, carra, coates and aurelio in action but apart from the wondergoal they obviously didnt concede. Good that they got a game. 

Anyone know if they are showing the game delayed anywhere? Sportsnet World (formerly Setanta for example). 

Hopefully this is the start of a good run now. Liked that Bellamy was up front again. He is important to our team functioning and has a surprising amount of pace despite his age. A couple of great deliveries.
