Both Chelsea and United did not manage to take 3 pts at the weekend. This league keeps impressing and surprising me. Just imagine if we had Torres available or if we pushed a bit for a win in the games against Stoke, Hull, Fulham and Chelsea. I think we would have had a gap at the top of the league if that was the case.
On the other hand I can not help being quietly satisfied. We are top of the league, the team keeps getting better and better an Rafa is about to sign a new contract. Yes he is not the most exciting manager and yes he does not always play the most adventorous football but he gets us trofies, he gets result, he gets the team organised at the back and he does a lot with less resources than for example Chelsea and United. Net spending is lower than these two teams and because of that he is doing incredibly well considering the circumstances.
Hopefully the contract will be signed shortly and we get new owners in. We could use with getting rid of the American's, the debt of the club and get Stanley park built.
