Yes young Sterling can play there but needs to work on his finishing. 

The only reason I would sign in other positions would be if world class talents are available. Left back is a concern but Johnson may come back and young flanagan can play there. 

I was sad not too see Kelly be given a chance until late today. Cissokho is looking a rubbish player and he needs to take a hard long look at himself and improve. If not he will be sent right back to Valencia soon.

Having said that all in all it was a performance to be proud of and it may just be the best game Gerrard has played all season. 

Too all those saying he cant play defensive mid, take a look at tonight's game.
