Considering the audience to final day of the season, can some fans of other spots that were watching the game and Barton today actually think this isn't such a soft diving sport after all? At least not the English game.
I was speaking to a mate in the US and it was an amazing end to the football season. It was a great commercial.
Having said that I could not condemn Bartons behaviour anymore. He behaves terribly but as with Ballotelli many times this season it adds to the entertainment.
It is a bit like fights in hockey.
And the dramatics towards the end. You could not ask for any more. Bolton was hard done with a few decisions towards the end of the season but at the same time as Owen Coyle pointed out it was in their hands. If they won today they would have stayed up.
