Alright performance. Poor defending by skretel on the distin goal. Apart from that Torres looked to be flying. Would have liked to see babel in the final minutes on the right side of midfield.

Apart from that I thought glen johnson did well on the left side today. Didn't let seamus coleman to anything.

Maxi even had a good game. Still think lucas is has 2 good intercetions and 10 bad. Mainly cause he lacks pace and is late.

Want jonjo shelvey (18 year old) to play in his place. He is a much more natural footballer, has the attributes to play in that position and already has been gifted with the anatomy to handle the physical nature of the premier league.

Kuyt needs a rest. He is an amazing athlete but could do with a bit of bursting energy. If aurelio comes in at left back (extra precision and deadball threat) and we move johnson to right wing in front of kelly (who again had a stellar game today btw), we could afford to give kuyt a rest. Alternatively keep the defence the way it is and use babel on the right wing in a 4231 formation to give kuyt a rest.

Worried about Agger. We get slow or error prone if he is out now for a while again. Let's hope it is just a knock. Young danny wilson might be worth trying to send a signal to skretel that he needs to improve.

Smart move by kenny to stick a liverpudlian in to the centre of the park today( Spearing) considering what kind of game it was.

Thought mereiles looked great and like I said if we can keep this spirit going I think we will keep going.

Happy to see the spirit and the fight from the team today tho and Torres looked interested again. Shame that left footed shot in the first half does not come off.
