I think we should sign Andy Caroll/Emmanuel Adebayor and Scott Parker. All are proven in the PL and would improve our team in areas that really need improvement.
Personally I was really disapointed with the performance on Saturday. Most notibly by Lucas, and Torres. Skretel didnt have a good game either but Torres especially looked disinterested.
Another player that is simply not good enough is Paul Konchesky. He is not a top 4 player.
We need to get rid of a couple of average players like Lucas and Konchesky and bring in some quality. I would much rather see Insua as a backup than Konchesky for example. At least Insua has talent and was developing. Lucas have been given a lot of chances now and 2 good games in 10 does not warrant a place in the liverpool midfield.
Bring in a proven PL player in central mid like Scotty Parker. I am sure he would be keen on leaving a bottom of the table club looking set to get relegated.
