What does Liverpool need by end of Transfer window

A DM, a robust RB and a winger forward. With the deal agreed for Barcola (verbal agreement reported by David Ornstein just yesterday I think we are on our way to getting there). Others are rumored to come but nothing official yet. I am sure the recruitment team is working on deals. Nyoni could potentially step up in midfield. If Curtis Jones leaves, and potentially also Gakpo with Barcola's arrival that may free up funds for other transfers. If not we are left to rely on Frimpong, Ramsay, and Bradley (only back in Oct). For those that think Ekitike will be back to 100% before seasons end, keep dreaming. He will maybe return March/April next year and even then he will have months before he will have a chance to get anywhere close to where he was. Leoni is still not fit, neither is Jacquet... read he has some persistent knee issues (first time in his career) so that is concerning after spending all that money on him earlier this year.

Regardless, I am excited for what's to come. The two towering center backs (one who does not have a work permit to play in the center of our defence) are exciting prospects. Maybe we could do with a few loans to start the season, both with a spare striker up front, a spare center back until Gomez, Jacquet, Leoni and others are back.

Fingers crossed a few more arrive before the season is upon us. If not we may have to pick Gravenberch or Endo at center back and rely on Frimpong at right back who we all know is very susceptible to more hamstring injuries (despite not having any of these before coming to the PL). I am encouraged to read that pre season has been gruelling for those that have been part of it. We need to be fitter than the team was last year. But squad is thin and it needs to be addressed.

Maybe Harvey can have a bigger role to play than we all think. Maybe there are 2 transfers in the works in the background that we do not hear about. Happens all the time with our recruitment team.

I think Richard Hughes will be a big loss and I hope they replace him with quality. Not an easy feat at all BTW.
