Derby day and defensive frailties.

Maybe he should consider starting Skretel and Coates and give Carra a rest if he wants to ship less goals?

Kelly looked good when he was back and Enrique is the right man at left back.

Give a chance to youth. I think Coates has bags of potential if he gets games. He could be our new Hyppia (maybe not the same leader but the with some of the same presence).

Getting in defence awareness/organisation is key. We need to eek out a few 1-0 wins to compete and beat Tottenham to that 4th place finish this year.

I would also like to see Bellamy on the right instead of Henderson. If Gerrard gets injured Henderson can be used in the middle or as a substitute on the right wing. Another option is Kuyt against the better team in that right mid position. I guess he still got a few games left in him and the amount of crosses he gets into the box is impressive despite his lack of pace and technical ability. He is also stellar in the defensive part of his game.

My bold prediction is that Carroll gets his first league goal this weekend. Personally think he has looked fresher and fresher the last two games and I hope he starts with Suarez right behind him only for Gerrard to come on and win it at 65 min.

Cant wait

Stian
