Some of the same comments from both of you so I thought I would respond to both.

Btw love to drum up a bit of a debate but before I get into it happy holidays and happy new year to u both.

Definitely a risk but we need a winger that can beat a guy. If you have watched his games for milan this year he has been surprisingly good.

He is 30 which is a fragile age but - used to be one of the best attackers in the world and has got back fit
- he has for the first time in his career started working defensively
- 29-30 should be a players prime age. Could easily have a few good yrs in him.
-torres and gerrard would consider him another top player and it would show ambition (imagine torres, ronaldinho, cole, kuyt with gerrard and mereiles just behinday).

All of a sudden we got a decent squad again with hungry guys like ngog, babel, jovanovic.

Next I think the defense needs to be addressed.

Counting against Ronaldinho is

- A flat party scene
- Not enough stars around him
- Lack of English knowledge and therefore maybe communication problems with Roy.
- Weather
- could take time to adapt to English footy

All fair points but I think it is worth giving it a shout (again assuming money and bonuses are reasonable).

What you fail to mention is alternatives??? Who would you want.

You can not be serious?

A fat over the hill Brazilian with an inflated ego and for sure enormous salary demands is not the solution for left attacking side in the Liverpool squad. If he should get the benefit of the doubt, he would have to come really cheap and have some sort of bonus arrangement….

I reckon he will go to the US….plenty of clubs with money to spend on someone who will cash in at the end of his career…

would be a brilliant transfer I think and the best option I could think of that we could afford on the left side of attack - despite his defensive frailties
