Transfer window frustration

Here is another guy we could have done with

FW: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/31/klaas-jan-huntelaar-milan-schalke-transfer

or Asamoah Gyan or Robinho or Ibrahimovich.

They are all better than Babel and Ngog. Even Boriello would have been good. Why did we not loan any of these guys?

Hopeless transfer policy if you ask me... hope we sign someone good by the end of the day.

Mereiles is going to take time to settle in the PL although he might come good.

Konchesky is not a top 4 quality player...

Neither is these other strikers that he is going for: Toivonen or the Utrect striker I do not think is good enough to play in the PL.

Starting to worry about Roy Hodgson now.

Look at Birmingham signing Hleb. Look at Sunderland signing Gyan, look at Milan signing 2 "top 20 in the world "stikers in the space of a week (Ibra and Robinho).

All these are major imrpovements to the team just like Joe Cole was for us. Where are these signings for Liverpool?

---

Other players we could have chased are , Johann Gourcouff (Went to Lyon), Craig Bellamy (went to Cardiff for lower wages) or Hatem Ben Afra (loan to Newcastle).

All would have improved our squad but we are chasing Shadows.

maybe this proves that Hodgson was not the right man for Liverpool after all.

Wish we would go after Karim Benzema(unhappy at Madrid) or Luis Fabiano (one year left on his contract with Sevilla.

Disapointed!!!

Stian
